I have lived in Tower Hamlets since 1986. I’m a school governor, trustee of a youth centre, former local church warden, and Parochial Church Council member. Among various projects, I founded Ocean Football Club, organised a residential programme for young boys with Chelsea FC, and a Saturday school for young people to increase their educational attainments. I also worked on a healthy lifestyle programme for women in the Stepney area.
