Petition: Save our Island Bus Routes
New proposals from Transport of London (TfL) mean:
- D7 to be cut
- 135 route no longer serving Manchester Road and Marsh Wall
- Wait times to increase 25%
- Fewer links to Chrisp Street Market and Royal London Hospital
Residents will be forced to wait longer, in more crowded buses and less easily reach services like surgeries, hospitals and schools- all while the local population is rising.
These proposals are a result of Boris Johnson’s Conservatives’ harsh spending cuts on TfL. Once again, Conservative cuts are hitting Islands residents hard.
Labour is campaigning to protect routes and capacity on buses on the Isle of Dogs. With us? Sign the petition below now.
