We, the undersigned, ask the Mayor of London and Transport for London to prioritise Mile End Station in their programme of lift installation.

Mile End is one of our busiest stations, with 45 steps from street level to the platforms. This makes it not only inaccessible for wheelchair users, but difficult for parents with buggies, people with limited mobility and travellers with heavy bags.

Mile End serves a wide catchment area and as an interchange should have high priority for lifts to be installed.
