I have lived and raised my family in the ward since 2006. I bring over 20 years experience making planning and regeneration work for communities including at Crossrail and Tower Hamlets Council, and hold a PhD from Oxford Brookes University, where I am a visiting lecturer.
I have challenged failing housing associations, defended the D6 bus route, opposed Westferry Printworks and have been reconnecting communities with the Thames by setting up a successful river action group. With rapid development and stretched services, residents have been shortchanged.
I offer practical leadership to improve housing management and council services, support families and local jobs, and ensure development delivers affordable homes.
