I was first elected as councillor for Bow East in September 2024. I was born, grew up and still live locally, and I’m proud to represent the community I call home.
I work in campaigns and policy for a national disability charity and have also served as a local school governor and as a trustee working to secure more affordable housing and affordable workspaces in Hackney Wick and Fish Island within Bow East.
As a councillor, I have led work on tackling hate crime and reducing reoffending in Tower Hamlets, while supporting residents through casework, holding regular surgeries, and being out most weeks listening to local people and acting on the changes they want to see.
