I am standing because I care deeply about this community and want to continue making a real difference for local residents. I was brought up in the area and run charity based in the ward which support families and young people.
I served as a councillor from 2018 to 2022, during which time I supported hundreds of residents through casework and enquiries. I also played a role in planning new affordable housing developments on the Collingwood Estate.
My priorities for the ward are delivering more genuinely affordable housing, securing increased investment to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour, strengthening and investing in Bethnal Green Market, and creating more opportunities for young people. If elected, I will be a strong and committed voice for local residents, especially young people and families, making sure our community continues to move forward together.
