I’m proud to stand to be a Labour councillor because I love Tower Hamlets and want to help secure a fairer, more secure future for local families. I moved to the borough over a decade ago and am raising my two young daughters here.
I bring 15 years’ experience delivering community work, including founding and leading an international charity supporting children, women and refugees across the Arab region. I have extensive experience in strategy, budgeting, governance and advocacy, and in working with local organisations and public bodies.
I’m passionate about tackling child poverty, strengthening schools and keeping our neighbourhoods safe and welcoming.
