Mayor John Biggs reacts to the alleged Number 10 Christmas Party

Commenting on the Number 10 Christmas Party that allegedly took place in December 2020, Mayor of Tower Hamlets John Biggs said:

“People in Tower Hamlets and across the country followed the rules, even though it meant being separated from their family. For some, following the rules meant not being able to say goodbye to their loved ones in person.

“It is sickening that while people were making these enormous sacrifices in order to protect each other and keep their families safe, the Government was seemingly breaking its own rules and Downing Street staff were joking about having a Christmas party.

“This is a hugely uncertain time, with many people worried about the Omicron variant, and at a time when we need leadership and to really push home the importance of vaccines and boosters, Government ministers are literally hiding because they can’t defend the Prime Minister.” |Commenting on the Number 10 Christmas Party that allegedly took place in December 2020, Mayor of Tower Hamlets John Biggs said:
